Good morning from Staunton VA. I’m at Advanced DUI training.

Tonight they fill us full of free booze and then give us intoxilyzer tests. The goal is to get people close to the legal limit so they can see what the level of impairment is. We are all staying in the same hotel so no driving behavior will go on.

The Rev LG has set up his ESPN+ and is supposed to give me a full report when I am not

One of my favorite parties in law school was at the associate dean's house. We each had to bring a designated driver (who had signed a pledge not to drink, and of course, we had signed a pledge not to drive). A state trooper and a breathalyzer operator were there. We guinea pigs got to drink, and at various times throughout the evening, we were "pulled over," to take sobriety tests and to blow in the breathalyzer. Fun times!

In all seriousness, it was interesting to observe a "DWI behind the scenes."
