They even have Hebrew National salami!
A note on Hebrew National meats. When we moved to Ft. Lauderdale in 1970, one of our neighbors was Mr. and Mrs. Lenny Pines. Mr. Pines owned Hebrew National! We occassionally got a free salami from them, but not as often as you'd think. They are long since passed,

For the record, I like Neil Young lots.
But Fleetwood Mac sucks butt.

As long as it's not Woody Allen, OK by me!
That is precisely what I am craving. A Woody Allen from Carnegie Deli. Ymm Carnegie Deli corned beef and pastrami. It's almost better than chocolate.
I meant the man, not the sandwich. :ymdevil:

Listening to Neil Young makes me want to hit somebody. Literally. One time when my husband had it on in the house every little thing my kids did made me want to spank them until I realized Neil Young was playing. I turned it off and everything instantly became tolerable. I'll defer to wilson now, what do you think do I hate Neil Young more than you hate Fleetwood Mac? (I hate Fleetwood Mac too, but not enough to resort to violence.)

I harbor internal desires to inflict violence on others when I hear Fleetwood Mac, as well as desires to inflict violence on people who go to their concerts (except Jennifer Aniston and any crazietalker who might ever attend one). Let's just call it even.

Question: The line at a Fleetwood Mac concert would probably qualify as a sleeve of crackers, right?

OK, I'm impressed. They even have Hebrew National salami! What they don't have on the web site is pictures of the sandwiches :( . I'm tempted to drive up for dinner, but I have a softball game tonight. (Note: I tweaked a calf muscle last night and can't run, but they need my body there, standing still, just to have enough players to not forfeit tonight as several other players can't be there tonight. No gross pictures to post on this injury  )
If you ever DO want to come hang out and go to Chutzpah's, let me know. You're welcome to crash in my guest room if you want, and I'd be happy to accompany you to the place. Their egg creams are REALLY good too. ;)

How did that happen? I'm already down my right one. All gone. When I was playing football at Duke, somebody stepped on it with a cleat and twisted on it with all their weight. It lasted a few days, but then I got careless when putting on a sock, and it peeled right off. My podiatrist tried to help me grow it back three times, but every time, it just dove straight into the bed, so I finally had him kill it. The weird thing is, he told me it would eventually just puff out and all look like the end of the toe, but mine didn't do that. About half of it did that, but the back half (the end toward my foot) is still deeply indented and still looks like a nail bed. it's kinda weird. How did you lose yours, and what does yours look like? ;)

Also, if you really want a baby, I'd be happy to loan you Katie, but you'd have to drive down here to get her. ;) And she has to be home by 8:30 for bedtime. i-)

Crap, I knew that. I was just in a hurry. For some reason, my brain was thinking Venice while my fingers were typing Vienna. Sorry. :ymblushing: :ymblushing: :ymblushing: :ymblushing: Thanks for the correction.

BTW, Wilson, I saw a guy at Wegman's today wearing a t-shirt with the :ar! on it with the word "Aar!" below it. It was AWESOME. I tried to catch him to ask where he got it, but with the kids, I was too slow.

bjornolf wrote:I don't know. I always thought that Carnegie's was a little over-rated. They've fallen into the trap of being too popular for their own good. There's a deli here in Fairfax run by a guy that moved down here from New York for work and was so disgusted by the lack of a good deli that he opened his own. I think his sandwiches are better than Carnegie's, personally.

Running marathons.

It's all Katie's fault anyway, it's her picture that started the baby craving today.

Not exactly, Miles and I discussed you at dinner on Saturday night. We were plotting ways to entice you to the EST/EDT in summer.
