Jerky is almost done. I marinated it for 28 hours, it has been in the dehydrator for about 8, I've been rotating the trays. Some is ready to enjoy now for an early sampling. It will all be ready when I wake up. Ymmmmm.

Wow, look at the pics. Miles looks completely different and he is obviously not shunning the weight room. They used to call Bilas, "Arnold" because of his strength. Miles looks as though he is in that territory. This bodes very well for Duke next season!

Damn. I was having a really nice night, and got an unpleasant reminder from a friendly ghost. My friend Bill Hagy had at some point sent me a Yahoo messenger request, but since I never installed it(messenger), I never got it. I installed it tonight, and got his request. I cry every time I remember him, and I never met him in real life. If anyone can understand how much a person can become a friend without ever meeting them, it's you folks. Bill...you bastard!

Back at the lake. We got here around 6:00 this evening. It's raining a little. Wonder if we're in for a storm? Bud and friend will put windows in the storage shed tomorrow. Possible make a door for the shed. Me? Who knows? I'll decide tomorrow.
