I made the breakfast "burrito" this morning...1 wheat tortilla, 1 egg, 1 slice of bacon, some cheddar cheese, pepper and salsa. The tortilla was too big or the fillings too small...but quite good overall.

Kate has had a rash since we came up here to nj. Took her to the doc this morning - he thinks it's chicken pox. I guess she's in the 15% where it's not effective. Not sure if she'll still going to be able to be a flower girl on Friday.

Jersey corn. 'Nuff said.
jersey silver queen corn is like manna from heaven.
I remember consuming several bushels of it during my youth. :D

Vibes for Katie to feel better and not have chicken pox, or to have a quick recovery! :wizard:

Poor Katie. Of all things, this can be tough. I assume she had the vaccination. Maybe that will make her case very mild. Sure hope so. :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

I don't remember having chicken pox, but I remember when my sister got it. My aunt brought my cousins over so we could all play and so my sister would expose them. It worked, within a short period of time everyone was done scratching. My 1st wife was not so lucky, she got it as an adult, which is not good. She was in the hospital for a period of time, and still has scars.

I know somewhere I posted about Smithfield issuing a second "boil water before drinking" alert on Friday. It has now been canceled - there was no additional contamination found. So now we can do our dishes and laundry without worrying about it. B-)

Just got back from Wicked. It was amazing! Loved the random shout-outs to The Wizard of Oz. Plot is much deeper than I thought it would be. It was thought-provoking as well as entertaining, as all good shows should be. I give it a hearty thumbs up. :-BD :-BD :-BD :-BD
