Landed in Seattle. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to where our luggage might be? Hint: apparently not Seattle.

I had a piece of luggage go from Tokyo to Rome instead of Tokyo to Pennsylvania once so I won't even hazard a guess as to where your bag might be. I hope nothing important was in it.lawgrad91 wrote:Landed in Seattle. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to where our luggage might be? Hint: apparently not Seattle.

Re: LTE 2.0
Just got back into town after a long weekend in AR. Have found that the 70s station on XM Radio makes excellent travel music. How funny is it that "The B*tch is Back" was playing as I exited the interstate in St. Louis?

Mom's luggage last week went from San Jose to Phoenix and stopped. My bag, tagged just before hers, made it all the way to Raleigh. The next day, her bag went from Phoenix to Chicago and then to Raleigh. They delivered it to Mom's house in Greenville late that afternoon. Mom got $50 for her troubles.
Always pack a change of underwear in your purse when you're flying.
I hope you're having fun in spite of the lost luggage!

I thought that was a Glen Campbell song. He used to live in Phoenix, my friend's father used to own a gas station there and Glen was in regularly. Of course, this was when I lived in the Valley of the Sun also.lawgrad91 wrote:On the way to Phoenix.

Re: LTE 2.0
I love fun stories. Sometimes I think it's all about the story. Well, a friend from college has the best story of all. Brian Chandler and his fiancee Toni Weaver got married during a rain delay at the college world series, see the link below. Brian and I are/were college classmates, though I have talked to him in ages. I think it's pretty cool that he and his fiancee decided to get married in a rain delay. This is vintage Chandler, who happens to be a high school baseball coach. Shoot! I'm almost jealous of the story. Almost, but not completely.

I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I admit the timing of the song did make me laugh.YmoBeThere wrote:I think we're all too polite to touch that oneArkieDukie wrote: "The B*tch is Back"
Another true story regarding this particular song: it came up on my iPod once at my former job when my supervisor walked into the lab. Not sure how I managed to keep from cracking up. In her case, the song really, really, REALLY applied.

It's the ringtone ExLax has for me on his iPhone. I haven't wasted the time to choose a custom ring tone for him.ArkieDukie wrote:I was being a bit tongue-in-cheek, but I admit the timing of the song did make me laugh.YmoBeThere wrote:I think we're all too polite to touch that oneArkieDukie wrote: "The B*tch is Back"

Le Tour de France starts on 7/3/10. How early in the morning can I start drinking French wine?

The Prologue starts in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Does that mean I should drink Dutch wine?
