Are we neighbors in Chapel Hill?
I hate those cluster mailboxes in subdivisions. Looks like apartment mailboxes. Makes life easier for the US Mail.
Ole Roy..... I will be glad to ride by his house, with the music blasting from the DUMB (Duke Univ Marching Band) playing one of our wonderful cheers!! And put the Duke flags, on the car also!
I was at a function this weekend, and UNC alum were mocking the name of their AD, "BUBBA". Heck, they were throwing Butch under the bus, still. BUBBA, what a fitting name for a grown name that is AD at UNC. Good fit!!

Re: Where did Ya Go Today (or Yesterday)?
Been around to a lot of places this week, but most of them were all Charlotte.
Goin' north today. All the way up to Patrick Co VA. A final (hopefully) mowing of the upper 40 and a partial winterizing of the fishin' lodge. I wish there was some water to fish in, up there right now. By the time they bring the water levels back up, it'll be too damn cold to get out on it.
Thanking technology for satellite radio, I'll keep up with a Duke win from over the airways.

You could go "fishing" .... it's just that you can't go "catching".captmojo wrote:Been around to a lot of places this week, but most of them were all Charlotte.

Re: Where did Ya Go Today (or Yesterday)?
Going nowhere but on a good, long walk today. (It'll be more like a long waddle! GOTTA get some of this weight off. I'm miserable.) I'll wear my favorite old Duke sweatshirt. Yeah, you're right. The Devils lost yesterday, but the Heels went down in FLAMES. So it's still a nice day to walk around Crappy Hell in that grungy old shirt!
Then back home to finish up a calligraphy project. Hope all of you who travel for a living get to spend a Sunday at home and that all of you who always stay home get to go someplace beautiful!
Go Devils!
Go Cardinals!
Love, Ima

I'm having a fabulous weekend at home. I'm off to DC next weekend and it looks like I get to slow down mid-January. Regardless, I love this time of year.
