Meeting with gallery this morning. Might as well paint away the tension. Both are 4 x 4 inches. Which means they are probably larger on your screen than they are in real life.

If the gallery insists on the Devil lurking in any of them anyplace, I'm available for final touches! Good luck! Keep us posted. It's sure gonna be fun to be able to say we knew you when you were but a lowly backyard gardener......and BBQ champ....and wearer of a jaunty hat....and tech wizard....and all 'round good guy.

Hope you sell out within a week!

I like the word 'jaunty'.

Oh yeah... and the mini abstracts, too.

So how did it go at the gallery? Did they like your stuff? More importantly, did you like THEM? Hope they weren't just interested in more "sand dunes and shells". There's enough of that already.

The gallery is the Bank of the Arts in New Bern, they are one of the larger ones in the area and are tied in with the local arts council. I've always liked them, but I'm slack on approaching new galleries.
Saturday went well; she is taking 5 paintings, which is more than I expected, and on top of it they are taking submissions this weekend for a juried show to be hung this month, so there is a chance to have one or two more hanging aside from the five she has asked for. :D

Congrats! Great! I'm sure they look impressive all hung together. Do you get to participate in the arranging?

I don't know. She is making some room for me, in the mean time I've got to get them framed. Bleah.

She will like it, she's tired of all my paintings laying on the floor. ;)

Um, I don't think that's what Ozzie and the Captain were referring to. ;)

Back to watercolors. Local ice cream shop called the Cow Cafe. So I titled the painting "Moovelous Day at the Cow Cafe". :D
