There are showers (or a chance of intermittent showers) forecast for the weekend. But not at CB&B's show. Nothing but sunshine and lollipops forecast for there!

If it's windy, I'll be selling colorful kites. String can be bought for extra. :))

Sorry, I couldn't figure out how to get the original thread. Mod's, you welcome to combine. :D

It appears we (Efland) is going to get a huge thunderstorm. It's very load and lighting is happening. Rain? Believe it our not , after all we have had (over 4/12 in.) last week, we do need rain again. Here's hoping!! Please, with no damage or especially, no one hurt. :ymhug:

The thunderstorm started east of Winston-Salem about 8, give or take a few minutes. It is a pretty nasty storm, lots of lightning and thunder. The little dog, especially, was terrified (she's still lying under my legs, and wouldn't eat, which is a shocker.) There's standing water in the backyard. But as far as I know, no hail and no damage that I heard of so far.

Hope you get some rain if you still need it, VDB.

Wow...seamless with perfection! :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
On topic...we got lots of rain two days ago...I stood outside watering my garden in a deluge. I probably looked like an idiot, but in reality I had a Miracle-Gro water feeder attached to my hose, I figure there is no better time to soak the soil with nutrients than while the ground is actually wet. It's worked out pretty well in years past. I hope we get more rain tomorrow.

It's dumping here, big time. I haven't had satellite for 20 min. (no, cable is not available here). Whee, I don't have to water the garden tomorrow. :)

We approached WS just after 7, with a planned stop at Costco for gas (I had seen online it was only $2.44/gal, 15 cents cheaper than in Raleigh and 25 cents cheaper than Smithfield!). It started to rain as I pumped the gas, and started to rain hard as we walked into Costco to use the facilities and make a purchase. The sky just about fell in it rained so hard, with lots of vivid cloud-to-cloud streak lightning! We waited 45 minutes for the rain to let up before continuing our journey to munchkinland :D We got here at 10. Baby is asleep so no new pictures yet.

Happy you and Mrs. Ozzie are there, safe and sound. :) It just stopped raining here.

I usually get gas in Mebane if at all possible. Not as cheap as you got today. Good job!!

Sun seems to be peeking out this morning in the Bull City. Hopefully it'll keep it up for just a few hours, enough to dry out the grass so that I can go cut some grass and make some $$ on the side!

No rain here, and it doesn't look like it's gonna. I wouldn't mind a nice soaking though, we've only had one good rain in the last couple of weeks.
