There are showers (or a chance of intermittent showers) forecast for the weekend. But not at CB&B's show. Nothing but sunshine and lollipops forecast for there!Very Duke Blue wrote:Hope it's dry down your way but not here. If it's windy, I'll be selling colorful kites. String can be bought for extra.lawgrad91 wrote:Hope you get good weather and get lots of business!CameronBornAndBred wrote:It better be nice this weekend, I'm showing my paintings outside.

We approached WS just after 7, with a planned stop at Costco for gas (I had seen online it was only $2.44/gal, 15 cents cheaper than in Raleigh and 25 cents cheaper than Smithfield!). It started to rain as I pumped the gas, and started to rain hard as we walked into Costco to use the facilities and make a purchase. The sky just about fell in it rained so hard, with lots of vivid cloud-to-cloud streak lightning! We waited 45 minutes for the rain to let up before continuing our journey to munchkinlandlawgrad91 wrote:The thunderstorm started east of Winston-Salem about 8, give or take a few minutes. It is a pretty nasty storm, lots of lightning and thunder. The little dog, especially, was terrified (she's still lying under my legs, and wouldn't eat, which is a shocker.) There's standing water in the backyard. But as far as I know, no hail and no damage that I heard of so far.
Hope you get some rain if you still need it, VDB.

I'll bet a few stinky diapers are on the horizon, too.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:There are showers (or a chance of intermittent showers) forecast for the weekend. But not at CB&B's show.
