Jury took less than 2 hours to return their verdict yesterday. The defense didn't call any witnesses. The "you can't prove I was driving the car" defense didn't work. Sentencing will be in February.

Pleasr send prayers and vibes this way. Tom, Bruce's best buddy (the husband of one of my best buddies) passed away last night.

Hug the people you love and tell them how much you love them. Tom had minor surgery on Monday and I had been hugging him good bye and saying I love you. But at 8 last night I didn't want to make him get out of his recliner, so I merely patted his arm and said, "see you later." He was gone an hour later.

You are right - it is a harsh reminder of what we should be doing all the time. Tell those you love that you love them every chance you get.
