Good morning. Had 4.5 inches of rain at my house last night. Some major flooding around town that made for interesting viewing on the news this morning. Watched a water rescue - 2 people were checking on their business and the water came up very fast and then broke through the walls. Once they got them out through the roof, they only had to go across about 100 yards to get to dry ground - creek was at historic flooding (2 feet higher than the last historic flood). Can't even imagine what it would have done if they hadn't done some major flood zone work during the past decade or so.
