It's the first day in almost three weeks that I've been able to sleep in--no appointments or work or other places to go. Naturally, I was up and at 'em BEFORE my usual alarm time.

We have joined Starmount Forest CC in Greensboro, 99% of my playing will be there going forward! I shot an 87, but it should have been better. I started bogey, par, birdie, par, bogey through 5 holes, 1 over, then double bogeyed 6,7,8 and 9. 44 on the front, par 35. Parred 10 and 11, and shot a 43 on the back, par 36. I putted very well yesterday, making several 8-15 footers, and just missed a couple of others. 11 should have been a birdie. Had one bad drive ( lost ball, re-teed) and one horrible 9 iron, also a lost ball in a creek in front of a green. Over all, I played well!
