Well no, not really. Just didn't want you to feel all alone.
Bullshit. You're just drafting off of my posts. I see right through you.
That only works if it's not 5 min between posts.

Devin Harris, the same guy who hit the tying HR in the 9th, comes up in the 10th and singles in the winning run from 2nd base. Pirates win, 10-9! There's gonna be some serious partying in Greenville tonight. I'm sure CathyCA will tell us all about it tomorrow. ;)

They're partying right now.

Seriously.

I haven't seen this town get this fired up since the ECU football team went to that bowl game in Memphis in December.

The husbands of our legal assistants have the season ticket packages to this baseball tournament. It's all the girls can talk about.

This is one of the few things that can make me wish I was back in Greenville. I attended more baseball games than all other sports while I was there (probably about a dozen in all). It's a great stadium, and the program has a modicum of tradition. They had an especially good season this year even by their standards, winning the conference title (over, among other teams, recent powerhouse Rice) and finishing ranked #16 or so in the country.
Now it's on to a Super Regional series against the hated tar heels. So now, for several very good reasons, we can all get behind the PIRATES.

I'm breathing down the neck of 500 posts and feeling buoyed by the Pirates' dramatic victory. The chances are strong to quite strong that I'll get to the milestone tonight.

Well, if you look at our registration dates, you'll see that I showed up here about three weeks after you did. So I think I'm doing just fine, thank you.

Indeed. Do you go to a lot of ECU games? And how long have you been in Greenville? I wish we'd been internet friends back then. I sure was bored for much of my time there.
