I'd leave other suggestions to those more familiar with the system to provide addition suggestions like Lavabe, wilson and colchar have done so far, IIRC.
Makes sense to me. Of course that means there will be some demotions coming up.

An interesting quirk in this software (and difference from the DBR software) is that if you read the last page in a long thread in which you hadn't looked at any of it, it unmarks as unread all the previous pages. In the DBR software, the software knows you haven't looked at the preceding pages, or if you answer an old post on say page 16 (using the quote function) and it posts the answer on page 37, it knows you have read the intervening pages. I just looked at the last page of the Nascar thread, I've never opened the thread before today, and the whole this is marked as read.
Not complaining, just saying...

Interesting discovery. While wasting yet some more time this AM, I discovered, as a moderator, I can not warn myself.

I've noticed sometimes it does what you experienced, and sometimes it knows you have not read them all. Don't know what it is that triggers the difference.

What did you do that merited the warning?

Nothing.
Yet.
I was just checking.
Kinda like one of the features on DBR where you can ignore a poster so I tried to enter/register "ignore devildeac" and the software says, "you can not ignore yourself."

You do enough things to yourself - don't add ignoring to the list ;)

Is there any way to reduce, or remove, the time limit imposed by the software for how long you must wait between posts? My shameless late night PWing in the LTE was a bit of a pain in the arse when I kept getting the message that I couldn't post so soon after a previous post. Reducing or removing that time would certainly help us PW.

I would like it if the "Board Index" page had a link to "Section 21".

That's one thing I have no control over, since the board index is from a template. Someone would have to write the code in on the page to do it. There is a link in the "chat tutorial", but I agree.. a link would be better. There is also a link on the font page, but none of use that page.

Can we get the time updated due to this weekend's time change? Please. Pretty please. Pretty please with a 9F on top.

Time update?
OK, here it is: it's time for kerlina to burn in hades. That good enough for you? ;)
Wait a minute. That's no update. It's ALWAYS time for them to be consumed by flames in that particular zip code.
Sorry. We return you to your previous request.

I turned off DST on the board software. Let's see if this works.

I've looked and there are no settings that I can change. I'll see what I can find out.
