Nothing like stress to bring on insomnia.

Loud thunderstorms also contribute to middle of the night wakefulness.

The hard part for me is determing the source of the stress.

It's tax season so that makes identifying the stress easy - work. Too much to do, not enough time to do it and maintain a life. Striking the right balance is hard.

The good news is I have a job, right.

I suppose if one falls asleep at 9:30 p.m., then waking up at 3:30 a.m. is okay. . .

I'm in Ft. Lauderdale to finish cleaning out my mom's condo today so she can give it to the bank tomorrow via a "deed in lieu". Tonight I'm trying to sleep in the condo on my dad's old power recliner. There is no other furniture in the condo, just a little stuff to give or throw away. Problem is, the AC system isn't cooling. We thought it was working because we set the tstat at 79. It's 80 degrees in here and I can't sleep. There is a small fan that is blowing air on me, but it's not helping much.

Fixing the AC will be someone else's problem and expense on Thursday. :ymdevil:

1:40 and I'm still awake. I just love work-related stress. Not.
