I am JEALOUS!!

But here's one for you. I am sitting at the kitchen table eating your broc chicken rice casserole. Now are you jealous of me? Or at least hungry?!

BTW, there are 2 more of these left in the freezer, 3 meatloafs, and a pasta pie!!
If he's not going to bring me a beer, then I am gonna be up this weekend and eat one or two of those casseroles before he arrives home...

:)) :)) =)) =))

Scattered, smothered, covered, peppered (maybe also topped with Bert's chili).

I can see it now... a serving of scrambled eggs, and I'll be thinking: where's the rice?

Cheers,
Lavabe

Glad to read that you are on the mend, devildeac.
Somehow, the chicken, broccoli, and RICE casserole is not high up on my list of things to eat just yet.
The key word being RICE.
I don't know when I'll make romazava, but it won't be in the first few days.
You see, it's something about having RICE that isn't appealing to me just yet.
Rice cheers,
Lavabe

True story: I'm friends with Bert. I've been to his house (two of them, actually). He gave me a Bert bobblehead for my birthday last year. He's pretty much the nicest dude ever. He feeds me enormous, delicious dinners and sends me home with a mound of leftovers about once a month. It's kind of awesome.

LegacyLady is very unhappy about this. "I've gone without romazava all summer AND he missed my 13th birthday. Now he's not even going to make me romazava when he gets home??" :? I'll let you deal with this when you see her... :-*

Geez... I said "in the first few days." And you know that at some point soon, I'll be back to making it (American style, not Malagasy style).

You must also explain that I am not truly prepared for coming home to major league supermarkets just yet after dealing with the living conditions here. You know, I'm likely to want to buy everything I see in Kroger or Meijer. Well... maybe not the rice, but you know what I mean.

Note to CT readers: the family does sacrifice a lot so that I may do research.

Well, I'm not sure if the "she" in your sentence above is referring to me or to Georgia, but today your adorable puppy took a piece of pizza off a plate pushed way back on the counter. LL and I thought it was so cute that we laughed as we scolded her and put her in the crate. I let her have the pizza. :)) :)) LL says you are going to yell at me for that, to which I say I don't care :!:
Welcome back! :-*

"Over yonder" refers to the place that wilson would refer to as the DB Arrrrr! :ar!
The other smilies are getting lonely... :ymhug: :ymhug: :ymhug: ;;) ;;) ;;)

Ugh... the lovestruck smilie doesn't work.
