You know, a species of nocturnal woolly lemur, Avahi cleesei, was named in honor of all that John Cleese has done for lemur popularity in the West. :-B

I am beginning to think that I indeed have some sort of intestinal parasite. I guess I'll be seeing a doctor Monday; treatment is fairly easy, with some antibiotics. The only other thing it could be is just simply a change in my gut flora, then a re-adjustment to a North American diet. Beats me... but yeah, the stomach pain is fun. No runs, no nausea, so not as bad as some things I could have gotten.

I blame this partly on relying on chemically treated water. Folks are using chlorine (that has been approved by USAID and the CDC) for water purification, but I have had bad luck with this product. Three infections in two months; no infections in my most recent two trips over to Madagascar, before the chlorine.

A fine choice! Chocolate is an excellent health food. It has antioxidants. :)
