He thought that Katie at under two and with a family history of asthma and her own reactive airway issues she's had would qualify. But he's not her doctor. So I need to call Duke peds and see if we can get her some.
We are scrambling to get our one year old an h1n1 shot (he had the regular flu shot)..They have a stockpile at our pediatrician's office but they are restricting it right now to extremely high risk toddlers..It's a bit of a frustrating waiting game as h1n1 hasn't really hit up here in MA compared to other parts of the country but it's a matter of days before its really full blown in this area. There has been a dramatic uptick in upper respiratory infections/suspected flu cases in the hospital where I work over the past week or so...
