And so, it has been done.
Re: Chat room name -- The poll
I voted, cast my tres! Although I understand the historical significance (thanks for the 'splanation by the way), I do not think it will be reflective of us as a group to be the room of "dopers" or anything like that versus the chat room of the 17's, or 21's or that our chat room is the devils playground! lol
Just my opinion, as warped as it may be!

Hey! I wanted to vote for Aycock!
Doesn't Aycock belong in this poll?

Re: Chat room name -- The poll
I've come up with another suggestion (sorry, was busy and didn't read the other thread before the poll went up). How about 'Devil's Rejects'? I think it is rather fitting for this group to say nothing of the reference to the Rob Zombie movie (although House of 1000 Corpses was waaaay better than The Devil's Rejects).

You should say nothing of the Rob Zombie movie. I thought that movie ssssssssssssssucked!colchar wrote:I've come up with another suggestion (sorry, was busy and didn't read the other thread before the poll went up). How about 'Devil's Rejects'? Re: Chat room name -- The poll
Time is marching on. I feel the deadline bearing down.....that is if it's still the previously stated Aug.31 @4:30pm. Wow. This is real pressure. The suggestion seemingly favored by most limits us to a Cameron reference. Won't the chat room encourage dialogue on ALL sports and their venues? I haven't voted yet just cause none of the choices has really bowled me over. Glad to know that "nothing is ever written in stone" around here, because somebody is going to come up with a truly brilliant suggestion sooner or later and it will probably be after the deadline rolls around.
Now, back to the brainhurting pressure of all this.
Love, Ima

Re: Chat room name -- The poll
It will encourage all sports, in fact there are rooms for each sport in the chat room just like in the forums. But it can't be too surprising that the most voted selection is a basketball reference. The closest vote getter is a reference to place that doesn't exist anymore.Ima Facultiwyfe wrote:The suggestion seemingly favored by most limits us to a Cameron reference.
