I can't believe I missed this while at the wedding.

I hope this has been a good week for ImaFacultiDaughter. Getting back to work has to feel good - but tiring. Prayers and vibes and 9Fs for continued healing and strength to her. Additional prayers and vibes and 9Fs to you as you settle back to a life with a bit less stress.

I hope this week of preparing for the opening of school has been a good one for your daughter and that the arrival of the students next week will bring a smile to her face. Hugs and vibes!

It has not gone very well. Still struggling with truly awful edema. It makes for verrrry long, very swollen and painful days. W'e hoping she can hurry up and recover over the weekend. Next week will be harder yet.

thanks for tuning in.

Is there a Tuesday update?

I hope Ima FacultiDaughter got some much needed rest and recovery over the long weekend. Prayers, Vibes, and 9Fs that this short work week goes well for her and uses less of her energy reserves.

We all went over to the game on Saturday night. Skipped brunchgate since we didn't know how much she could handle in the way of walking, standing, sitting, heat, etc. It turned out to be a good decision. She didn't make it past halftime.

Her recent bloodwork shows that she is still not making enough good red blood cells to nourish organs with enough oxygen.....hence the edema and extreme fatigue. Gotta get those kidneys working better.

Still, things are sooooooo much better than this time last year. We just have to stay positive and smart about things.

Thanks for checking on us.
Love, Ima

I'm sorry that she didn't make it past halftime, but I'm glad that she had a chance to go to the game.

Grow, red blood cells! Carry that oxygen! Refresh those organs! Grow, grow, grow!

That's okay. The TEAM barely made it past halftime, themselves! (Bless their hearts!)

While it's too bad she didn't make it the whole game, the silver lining is she did well enough to go. Continued vibes!
