But some of the football team are.

A good article from Jim Sumner:

I’ll repeat what I’ve said previously, more questions than answers.

Jim Sumner on the Spring Showcase:

Positive comments on interior defensive linemen and quarterback. Gunnar Holmberg had a great offseason in the weight room. He and Luca Diamont are more mobile than Chase Brice so the offense will take advantage with the read option and RPO. Playmakers at receiver with size outside and speed inside,

I’m afraid to get too enthused. I am more mobile than Chase Brice.Bob Green wrote: ↑March 28th, 2021, 5:46 amJim Sumner on the Spring Showcase:

Only mobility Brice has shown is when he goes from school to school to school.

Re: 2021 Duke Football
Chase Brice was a failed experiment. Seemed like a great move at the time but, with the benefit of hindsight, we would have been better off in the long run to play Holmberg and Diamont.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑March 28th, 2021, 10:19 amOnly mobility Brice has shown is when he goes from school to school to school.

Re: 2021 Duke Football
With Holmberg's comments about Chase's mobility, and how it affected the offense on the whole, I will never understand why Cut didn't make a change during the season. That's not cause for optimism if change is needed again in the future.Bob Green wrote: ↑March 28th, 2021, 11:49 amChase Brice was a failed experiment. With seven players (hopefully) going to the NFL this fall, how in the hell did we only have a 2-9 record last season?

I truly believe Duke (Coach Cutcliffe) has underperformed in hiring assistant coaches to replace those that moved on.CameronBornAndBred wrote: ↑May 3rd, 2021, 10:04 amCoaching!OZZIE4DUKE wrote: ↑May 3rd, 2021, 9:12 amWith seven players (hopefully) going to the NFL this fall, how in the hell did we only have a 2-9 record last season?

Re: 2021 Duke Football
Friday night opener instead of Saturday now.
I'm thrilled, since Duke does such an awesome job with parking on a Saturday, why not prove their perfection with a total Friday night clusterfuck to start the season.
https://goduke.com/news/2021/5/4/duke-f ... hange.aspxDuke's home football game against North Carolina A&T, originally scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 11., will be played Friday, Sept. 10 at Brooks Field at Wallace Wade Stadium.

Re: 2021 Duke Football
Horrible news! I work, my daughter works, my grandson goes to school. Friday night games suck. Louisville game is also on Friday so 7 home games potentially reduced to 5.

I received a confirmation email that Green Family 2021 season tickets are paid in full. Money rolled over from 2020. Ticket account successfully reactivated.
