But no more coaches have dropped. :-s
And no announcement Greg Frey has been hired as OL Coach.

As for the schedule, rumors the Charlotte game will be on Thursday (Sep 17) night vice Saturday. Yuck!

It’s official now Greg Frey is the OL Coach. Coach Cutcliffe announced it today.

I saw this guy play basketball on Monday. He has some work to do on his body but has decent footwork. :9f:

This is interesting.
Former Clemson quarterback Chase Brice has set up his first visit as he searches for his next home.

Brice told The State on Wednesday afternoon that he will take an official visit to Duke this weekend. The Georgia native passed for 581 yards and four touchdowns, with one interception in 2019, while completing 59 percent of his passes.

A couple comments:

1. Mark Gilbert is back to full participant status in winter workouts. It has been a long road since he dislocated his hip in September 2018 against Northwestern.

2. Hearing rumors Coach Cutcliffe will be the OC in 2020. That’s a straight up rumor but with no movement amongst the staff other than a new OL Coach, it seems plausible.

Nothing leaking out yet about the weekend visitors.

Stanford OL Devery Hamilton is grad transferring to Duke. He played guard and tackle at Stanford. Our OL depth is improving. Jack Wohlabaugh returning healthy from his leg injury is vital.

3* verbal Addison Penn will sign on Wednesday.

What a FUN development! Coach Cut is going to be the OC this year, bumping Roper off his play calling duties (but still having him coach the QBs). I am really excited to see what the offense looks like this year now. If it continues to be conservative, we know who to blame for everything! (But of course I hoping that Coach does an amazing job and has an exciting year in store for us.) :happy-bouncyblue:

Agreed! I was so excited by this development that I came here to celebrate amongst like-minded people.

I think he chose wisely. Of course, if he needs an outside consultant for the occasional play suggestion, I'm available! :9f:

Ozzie, you’re the first person I thought of when I heard the news. I guess maybe it’s the next best thing to firing Roper, which he would not do out of loyalty. After next season, he can hire a new OC and it won’t like he is completely dissing Roper.

New cornerbacks Coach is Chris Hampton from Tulane. He played at South Carolina and coached at Arkansas State and McNeese State before Tulane.
