I looked at the sign on the card Gym Lot sign telling "regular parkers" what time they have to move their cars by at today's game and on November 20th. The 20th has been changed to 4:00pm! Tim and Chris - mention this to David Brochu when he stops by this morning! I also saw this on another parking lot entrance last night, so it might be campus wide? can we get in at 4:30 now? Inquiring minds want to know!

Good morning!! Game day!!! Go Duke!!! JK won last night, 48 to 0. Two touchdowns were called back. Max long snapped. Perfect. He also is one special teams. He played safety and wide receiver starting in the third quarter. In the fourth, he intercepted a pass. It was fun. It was 30 degrees.Today should be better.

We got some good news yesterday. Tim and I will be delivering the grill, tables, coolers and TajMaTent Wednesday night. We are working on a feasible way of spending the day on campus with our grill cooking, so our menu will be more along the lines with the grand vision we had dreamed of when we first heard about the game in the first place.

Here's my grand vision menu suggestion:

Glad to hear tailgating is a go. We will have 4 or 5 total--Art, Debbie, plus friends from "down the road"
Happy to bring a pot or a casserole if we go pot luck style. But if the cooker and the cooks are able and willing, we will

Multiple sources that I trust have said that a "campus-wide" e-mail was sent to all Duke managers this week encouraging them to let employees go by 2pm. My mom, who works at Duke, has heard the same thing. I have also heard that people will not be sent away and will be able to park if they arrive at the parking lots around 3:30-4:00pm. BlueDevilLair is reporting the same thing. I am parking at a friends house and making the walk anyways, but it does seem like we should be able to park in the lots at 4. This would mean that people could be in Blue Devil Ally for the Blue Devil Walk at 5:15.

In a somewhat related subject, the WFU game is on a 6 day hold for kickoff time on the 29th. Hopefully this means no noon kickoff. 3:30 would be good IMO. We''ll find out Sunday. AW

FYI...we are going tent free again tomorrow. Since it won't rain, and it won't be sunny, no need and it's less to pack out. The grill and tables were delivered there earlier tonight; TNT and I will be back at 9am to finish prep and start cooking the pig. Once again we have Danny's space next to ours to use.

ACC will take 2 noon slots and 3 out of 1 3:30 spot, 2 7ish spots, and 1 8:00 spot.

Games we are competing with are South Carolina-Clemson, Florida-Florida State, Kentucky-Louisville, and Pitt-Miami. Right now we look like the least attractive game, but technically the worst available spot is actually at 7 on ESPNU. The other two ESPNU spots are taken already.

Weather report is saying clear and cold with a low of 26 tonight. I'm happy there is no rain in the forecast.

Now it looks like the despicable bastards have done somewhere between $10-25K worth of damages to the visitors locker rooms at WW by spray painting the bell, and walls and carpets and whatever else they could aim their spray cans at after the game. What a bunch of @#$%ing jackasses! I don't have a link so if you wanna read more about it, visit the Durham Herald Sun, I guess.

I'm waiting for photos to start circulating. Per posts at TDD, "Go to hell, Duke" and "UNC" were spray painted in multiple locations on walls and on the carpet. There was damage to the practice field surface and at Wallace Wade Stadium. Hopefully the full extent of the damage will be made public.

This goes way beyond casual damage from overspray. This is willful destruction of private property. And, oh by the way, Adam Gold can kiss my ass!
