Can you see all of us watching a Duke game on phones during the wedding? No doubt, when the celebrant said, "speak now or forever hold your peace," Okafor would slam an alley-oop from Tyus Jones, or Rasheed would hit a three, and all of us would yell.
Good planning, CathyCA, to look at the exam schedule.

Ah, but we DID consult the university calendar. Our wedding date is during EXAMS! We're counting on not having a game that day!
That should be a great date!!!! And easy to remember, also!

There is a huge flaw in the list logic "watching a Duke game on PHONES" if through some misadventure there actually was a game that day then
1) The ceremony time would be adjusted to avoid interfering with the game and
2) TVs would be available at the reception.
Remember who you are talking about here!

Also, our celebrant is a double-Duke grad, and a member of the Board of Trustees. I doubt that she would have agreed to officiate if she'd thought that Duke was going to play during the wedding.
