The football team is becoming taller than the basketball team.

WR Aaron Young (6'5" 200) to Duke. He is three stars from Murrieta, CA. He was gaining attention from lots of folks but his only other offer was from Nevada.

Couldn't find his 40 time anywhere. If you tell me it's in the 4.4-4.5 range, I'll need an even larger towel to wipe off my chin :D . Sounds like a nice find.

Monday announcement:

3 Star Center Brian Chaffin (6'2" 280) from Charlotte Christian will announce on Monday at 6 pm. Supposedly it is down to Duke, Stanford and NC State. Lots of speculation that Stanford is too far away, and Chaffin likes State because of the availability of immediate playing time. Hopefully he takes a good, hard look at the long term situation before making his final decision.

We will know in 22 hours!

Kind of odd for a guy that is only a three star recruit to make a big deal of his announcement. I'd like to have him, but that smells a bit diva-ish.

DE Trevon McSwain (6'6" 210) to Duke. He is three stars from Buford, Georgia:

http://duke.scout.com/a.z?s=167&p=8&c=1&nid=7242519

Offers from Virginia, Tennessee, Nebraska, Illinois, Georgia Tech, Vanderbilt, East Carolina, NC State, Mississippi State. It is nice to see defensive lineman commits in this class. That is definitely a position of need.

3 Star WR TJ Rahming (5'9" 165) who runs a 4.39 40 from Powder Springs, GA is commit number 11. Five of our 11 recruits in this class are from Georgia:

http://duke.scout.com/a.z?s=167&p=8&c=1&nid=7162122

His other offers include: Tennessee, Mississippi State, California, Cincinnati, Wake Forest.

To break up the boredom, how about a 4 Star wide receiver with offers from Texas A&M, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina, Nebraska, UNC, Georgia Tech and Mississippi State:

http://espn.go.com/college-sports/footb ... ton-fuller

ESPN has him at #193 on the Top 300 list. Welcome to Duke, Keyston Fuller! We are loading up on wide receivers in this class.

Nice! We'll need to run it too, how's our RB situation looking?

No running backs have verbally committed yet with emphasis on the word yet. We are in the mix with four NC running backs. It would be nice to sign two of them:

Johnny Frasier, Nyheim Hines, Bryce Love and Reggie Gallaspy.
