PJ, bless his cheating heart.......... let's see what the next chapter of PJ reads like. The 2013 Summer of PJ was a spiral downward for the kid. I hope this will be a great Reference Case to other Student Athletes who think they can get by with such illegal activity.

I shouldn't be surprised by the comments of tar hell denial, but damn, what will it take for them to admit that something is very wrong in Chapel Hill??

If President Obama were dead of a gunshot wound, with PJ Hairston holding a smoking gun, out of his mind on meth that Ol' Roy had cooked himself, and driven away from the White House by Leslie McDonald in a Porsche rented by Fats Thomas, they would still think it was a Pack Pride (et al) conspiracy. :9f:

Y'all gotta read the 100+ comments that follow this article. My favorite:

"See, we all recruit the same athletes. (No, really, we do. Chris Washburn was recruited by Dean Smith and Chris has the letter with Dean's handwriting to prove it.) UNC accepted players that CLEMSON said "son, you are too stupid to play for us". And when CLEMSON says you're too stupid to play for them, you are one dumb monkey-farmer."

:)) :)) =)) =))

PG let it be known that when he called Duke, Duke always thought if was Josh Harriston. PG said he got tired of it and signed with UNC. I don't think Duke was that interested in him. As Ima would say, "Bless his heart".

This is a long, disturbing report on cnn.com, but it leads off discussing the Dump on the Humpers:
http://www.cnn.com/2014/01/07/us/ncaa-a ... ?hpt=hp_t1
At least Iowa State seems to be doing something right.

FWIW, I read in yesterday's Chronicle of Higher Education that literally, UNC is sending around some of its administrators to spot-check that professors are teaching.

Thanks for posting. I have to wonder, are any "non-reading athletes at Duke? That would be hard for most of us to believe. I would be shocked. We all know some Duke athletes do struggle and sometimes cannot play until their grades are acceptable.

The Quote of the Month from Inside Carolina today:

apparently PJ tweeted:
My dream stands in front of me...

One IC posters reply:

Was he standing in front of the "Welcome to Colorado sign?"
