Re: First Solo Show Opening
The local paper has given me some nice press, and I was interviewed by NPR yesterday. Don't know if they will use it, but if so, I'll be on the radio today.

Wonderful article!
Where can we go to hear your interview with NPR?

Re: First Solo Show Opening
The opening was lots of fun, and very crowded. The weather was great, so all my artist friends were out, set up on the streets and demonstrating their skills. One of my volunteer models came up from Wilmington for the show, and my college roommate drove down from D.C., so it was great seeing familiar faces. The three of us went to dinner after. Two paintings had sold by the time I left, one was the painting of our dining room, and the other was the nude I did of the volunteer male model. If you had asked me what painting definitely would not sell, it would have been the nude of Michael. Just goes to show, you never know what people will buy. Julie's mom was thrilled that Michael sold, every time she'd come over she'd say "that painting creeps me out"..lol.
