The 'gator looks much smaller on land than in the water pic.

Ezmarellda will protect you too!! Seriously, I have never seen one in real life and the one they found on the beach was teeny tiny and four miles from here :D

Another one was caught at Topsail beach yesterday, a five footer.

When I was on Kiawah Island a couple of weeks ago, we had an 8- to 10-footer come right up out of the water off the edge of the deck. It was pretty cool:
