I have signed up with a service called SiteLock. I also use them for my watercolor page. They scanned and found the threats, and I'm waiting for a call back to find out what I do now to actually get them removed. Once that's done, they continuosly monitor the site to ensure we remain safe. Until the threats are removed however (and probably until your browser services are notified) you will continue to see the warnings. I have no idea how long that may be.

Thanks for your continued diligence, CB&B. B-) Yup, I just got the warning now.

Thank you, CBB. Has this resulted in increased out of pocket expenses for you?

This is a test. I"m using Firefox.

Safari and Chrome would let me ignore the warning, but I would have to jump through that hoop each and every time I found it necessary to click "enter". Even though I could limp through reading what all had written, either of them would let me submit a post or a reply.

I scaled down my security settings. No soap. I ran an good, long AVG scan that repaired 714 problems . Not.

Now, we'll see about Firefox. I received no warning when signing on. Now I shall click "submit". Holding fingers.
Love, Ima

I got the warning when I tried to get on at the salt mine. Considering how every time I try to run a freaking Sheriff's office video I get a disaster warning, I didn't think much of it. I am on the iPad now. :9f:

And you will until the link buried on our site is removed. The guy from Sitelock called while I was with a client so I've left him a voicemail.

The only time I've seen the warning was on Cathy's computer last weekend. Knock wood, I haven't seen it on my iPad or MacBook.

I haven't seen it on my ipad or iphone, but I did get on my macbook in both safari and firefox. At work I can "ignore" the warning, but I don't quite have that luxury on my macbook.

Okay, but weird that this morning, two weeks later, is the first that I see this warning.

This is crazy - I get all the stupid warnings on my desk top iMac but not on the iPad! That is one crazy cybergremlin!

I still have to ignore warnings, ignore, ignore repeatedly to get anywhere in here. Safari doesn't cooperate at all. Chrome is the most forgiving.

Well here's the deal. I signed up with a company and paid about $30 thinking that they would be able to go through and not only find the infection but also remove it. Turns out that's not the case. What I paid for was for them to scan the site every day, and if they had caught the infection AFTER we were ok, then they could remove it. But since I signed up post-infection, it would cost me $500 for this service. He then informed me that since I am with justhost as a web provider and they partner with them, my cost will ONLY be $200. I'm not in any position to shell out $200 to remove the infection. At some point CTN may get totally knocked off line since we are technically on a blacklist by Google. I hope this does not happen, and in the mean time I am looking for other solutions, but that's the sum of the issue as it stands today.

I think we all can/should kick in a few bucks to help pay the $200 to clean things up. If you have a paypal account I'll send you $$, or will give you some this weekend.
