The Natural Science Center in Greensboro currently has an exhibit on the Accidental Mummies of Guanajuato.

The Pharaohs, maybe? I suppose they had plans to become mummies, but perhaps didn't want to rush the transfer to the otherworld.

Also, I don't know if any of the food pantries in your area do this but Manna House in Pensacola, FL installed an urban garden instead of replacing one of their warehouses. One of the folks running it was actually an archeology major. Here is their website: http://www.mannafoodpantries.org/gardens.html. Perhaps there is a similar organization closer he can check out.
It's a small, small world! I hit the link to Rosalind Creasy above. She lives just up the road from Sam in California in Los Altos. When I read her blog, I scrolled down, and Rosalind was bragging on my cousin's business: http://www.brentandbeckysbulbs.com Image Maybe I'll take Sam up to see what Becky is up to with her bulb business.

I'm adding this to my list of things to suggest to Sam.
