That must have been around Mebane. Exit 145 in Burlington is the best place I've seen for gas prices.
Yes, it was Mebane!

Today I paid $3.04 in Ft. Pierce (mid to upper$3.20's for most of the Florida east coast, these couple of stations are the exception), $2.92 in Florence, SC (it was $2.87 farther south in SC) and it's $3.09 here in Smithfield tonight.

Oil went up about $7/barrel yesterday so I suspect we'll see that price increase tonight or tomorrow 8-| .

It's $2.99 in Raleigh too (South Saunders St, accross from Sam's Club outside the beltline, and at Costco too). B-)

Oops, just checked on Gasbuddy.com and it's only $2.98 at Costco this morning!

Great!!! to see Gas Prices dropping!!!! I am going to Alamance County today to run several errands.....

My Lexus uses all the gas you put in her!!!!! And the Lincoln Town Car, uses even more!!!! She stays parked!!!!! However, they are both paid for, and maintained!!! No Repo roll backs in my driveway! THank goodness! I think Lexi, my Lexus has a relationship with the C Stores and Truck Stops!!! Because she likes to stop way to often and have a Chat with the Gas Pump!!!!! And it eats away on my Debit and Credit card!!!! Lexi is an expensive girl!!!! LOL

I will gas today in Haw River !!!! :happy-bouncyblue:

I was reading that the main reason for the prices dropping is a slowing of demand, especially in China where production is grinding down.

You can hardly notice it around here. We're still way over three bucks.
