Hmmm...I should have done a better job of pre-screening members for the league.

Do I detect a note of envy in your post?

Is there some sort of Yahoo competition for highest scoring league? I would think we're up there. As commissioner, you did a GREAT job screening.

That would be really interesting to see. Our top three are all in the 96th percentile and above so we'd likely be up there as a group. Then again, I am in the 99th percentile but am still only ranked 1559th overall.

I am having a hard time picking drivers for this race. Seems like the best way to pick them is put their names in a hat. Can't be any worse the pouring over stats.

You've figured out my method...well I do eliminate some of the Ford drivers from the pool.

I switched a couple of my drivers based on qualifying - which I never do. I hope it doesn't come back to bite me. Maybe I should've stuck to my original instincts.

And half the field is finished only seven laps in.

I'm officially fucked this week.

I still have 4 drivers in the race. Let's see how they do. Kyle, Jimmie, Dale should be fighting for the top spot along with guys that don't get mentioned often.

Wow, what a finish. Edwards looks to be okay...but a rookie turned him at the end of the race.

Before I switched him out this morning, I had Amborse. Never had Newman in the lineup, because well its Newman.

I had Ambrose too but switched him for Labonte. I had also planned to pick Dale Jr. but decided not to. Oh well, hindsight is always 20/20.

Well Tilly will be ahead of me after this race and you might be too depending on how many points I was ahead of you. Oh well, I knew my run in first place couldn't last all season.

What I don't understand is that according to the group picks page, Tilly and I had exactly the same picks, including Kyle Busch. When I look at the results on her page, however, she went with Bowyer instead of Kyle Busch ... which is more like what I expected from her (given her attitude towards Kyle Busch).

We now have the top three within 30 points of each other, and all three of us are in the 98th percentile. We are drafting.

Cheers,
