BTW, you don't have to be 50 to be a member of AARP, if your spouse is over the magic mark.

I know; my AARP card came in the mail yesterday. And I'm only 29! :D

Or, apparently, if someone steals your credit card number and uses it to buy an AARP membership for you to see if the card is still good. I know, because 37yo Mr. DA has been an AARP member now for a year. They are currently spamming him to renew.

Rev. Lawgrad discovered that the AARP discount for a hotel room in Asheville was greater than the AAA discount, so he joined and signed me up. Our cards came in the mail yesterday, except they misspelled my last name. :-B
