I watched Captain Kangaroo but I was raised by watching The Three Stooges. :twitch:

They made me the moron I am today.

Not gonna lie...I love that The Muppet Thread has actually made it to a second page.
I will resolutely endeavor to continue extending it. :character-kermit: :character-kermit: :character-kermit: :character-grover:

I loved the Muppet Show when I was younger, and the Golden Girls kept me as sane as possible during law school.

One of my earliest memories was when Captain Kangaroo was pre-empted. I was X( . Dad telling me that it was pre-empted by the moon landing didn't make me any less mad.... :9f:

Interesting that you should bring that up in this thread. I once had a Muppets duet album (famous musicians playing songs with various Muppets) that featured, among other things, Jimmy Buffett singing "Mr. Spaceman" with Gonzo. Believe it or not, the album wasn't half bad (even though my parents gave it to me for Christmas mostly as a joke). That was actually my first introduction to "Mr. Spaceman."
