I am quite pleased with my performance after the first half of round 1 (I refuse to adhere to the NCAA's new naming convention and call it the "second round"). I got 13 of 16 games on day 1. I never do very well in these things, so I'll take that.
And surely, the weauxfgods have heard the above, and I will go 2 for 16 today.

That might be true if I cared one iota about baseball. I used to like it but simply cannot bring myself to watch it any more. Far too boring for me, I'd rather watch replays of old hockey games during the summer months.
Well, can't argue about one's tastes. You either like it or you don't. Me? I LOVE baseball. It's not just the game. It's the ballpark, the weather, the brew, the scenery if you will. It just an orgasm of "outside in the park where everything feels perfect." And one of the beauties of the game for those of us who love it, is that there is PLENTY of fingernail-chewing, teeth-gnashing suspense. It's just a different kind. You have move time to agonzie about what may or may not happen. And OH the strategies! I wish they'd play baseball for more than half the year!
