From Wikipedia: (yeah, I know Wikipedia isn't the be-all and end-all of authorities, but I can't exactly go to ESPN for this one, can I?)
After signing a national letter of intent with Notre Dame, Gottlieb was their starting point guard during the 1995-1996 college basketball season, starting all but four games. During Gottlieb's freshman year at Notre Dame, he stole credit cards from a roommate and fraudulently charged over $900 to those cards; subsequently, he was expelled from the team and eventually convicted of misdemeanour fraud.

Did it mention anywhere how "alarmingly un-ath-a-letic" he was whilst perpetrating such misdemeanors?

Unanimous #1 in the coaches poll again. Followed by OSU, KU, UCon and Syracuse.
Duke is the only ACC school in the top 25 of the Coaches poll. Duke is also the only ACC school to even receive a vote in the Coaches poll.

#1 in the AP poll again with all but one vote. Followed by OSU, KU, UCon and Syracuse. OSU received the other first place vote.

That's depressing.
The only thing more depressing is unc-ch received 10 votes in the AP poll despite losing to the #25 team (at least at the time).

Still number 1 in the AP and Coaches poll. Followed by OSU, KU, Syracuse and Pitt. No other ACC teams in the top 25 of either poll.

Doug 'alarmingly unathletic' Gottlieb hates Duke. Only member of the panel to not put them at #1. Hell, even Jay Bilas voted Duke as the #1 team.

Gottlieb was the only one not to pick Duke as #1. Bilas picked the holes as #24, he was the only participant to pick them in the top 25.

With Pitt beating 'Cuse yesterday, we'll be moving back up some. Love this time of year, polls start swapping with regularity.

#3 in the AP behind OSU and Pitt. FSU joins Duke in the rankings at #22. VT was the only other ACC school to get votes (8 - 90 off of 25th). Duke and Pitt also grabbed one first place vote each.

#2 in this week's power rankings on espn behind OSU
http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketb ... errankings
Duke was #2 on 14 of 16 ballots. Andy Katz picked Duke 4th and Doug 'alarmingly unathletic' Gottlieb picked Duke 5th.
Duke has rebounded nicely after its loss to Florida State with three straight dominating wins over Virginia, NC State and Wake Forest. Boston College's dynamic offense could present a challenge, as could road trips to St. John's and Maryland early next week.
