Colchar's Avatar - Keep or Kill?

Hee hee. I realize the situation has been resolved but given how much I despise bugs it relieves me that I keep everyone's avatars off.

How do you do that?

Under the User Control Panel, go to Board Preferences, Edit Display Options, and turn off "Display Avatars".

Every now and again, I turn avatars back on, but it takes about a minute before I am reminded that I find them super distracting.

Crap! If I'd known that I wouldn't have unfriended cholchar.

At some point OY there was a discussion about avatars and some people like me didn't care for them, but other people REALLY were into them and found that it helped them keep track of who said what. That's my basic rationale for having an avatar. I agree that it's ironic that you can have an avatar while choosing to never see them yourself. (I also don't turn on signatures <ducks>)

Yeah I like Tilly too much. Consider it gone (when I get back to the computer on which my avatars are stored).

Perhaps someone who posts OY might want the avatar?

I'd like to see someone who posts OY use my 'flipping the bird' avater.

The bug doesn't bother me but since you've gone back to Randy Rhodes...well, whatever trips your trigger, pal.
