I am becoming less amused as I look at the projected path as our FB home opener approaches.Lavabe wrote:It's still T.S. Earl(Jam):

Maybe we could use all the hot air blustering outta chappaheeya and direct it far out to sea.CameronBornAndBred wrote:I become less amused as it approaches my home. I hate to tell you, but earlier this week, the models had Earl(Jam) going to the oil spill area in the Gulf of Mexico.CameronBornAndBred wrote:The models are what I most go by.
I like any/all those models.CameronBornAndBred wrote:The models are what I most go by.
Not sure why. Topsail is here too. Don't trust the image of them going north early...Earl(Jam) has had a more westerly path projected each day I've woken up. Go North EJ...Go North!devildeac wrote:I like any/all those models.CameronBornAndBred wrote:The models are what I most go by.

Must be Fiona that has changed Earl(Jam)'s direction.
Speaking of Fiona, Fiona Apple once spit on me. True story. She was singing; spit landed on my arm. It was awesome.Lavabe wrote:CameronBornAndBred wrote: Must be Fiona that has changed Earl(Jam)'s direction.
I'm not liking that red pathway too much.CameronBornAndBred wrote:I like how the image stays updated.
Here are the computer models...
and the projected path...
You could always get yourself one of those leaf vacuums. They look like a leaf blower with a big bag off the back, and you just use them like a vacuum cleaner to suck up the leaves and acorns. Let your kid use it. They're fun!CathyCA wrote:I am happy that we won't be dealing with the hurricane at the ball game, but I'm not looking forward to what this storm is going to do to my yard.
I had the canopy on my trees raised this spring, so I have fewer branches to drop leaves all over my yard. I'm thinking of getting all of my oak trees chopped down. I hate raking leaves and stepping on acorns. We are going to have such a mess to pick up on Sunday and Monday. I was wondering how we were going to spend our Labor Day holiday. . . now I know!
