Wilson mentioned Lifesavers, and that reminded me of the silly fun I had in junior high school. My friends and I and would go in the bathroom, cut off the light and chew Wint-O-Green Lifesavers in front of the mirror to watch the sparks emanate from our mouths. I might go out and get a package of Wint-O-Green Lifesavers tomorrow morning to entertain 8-X's kiddos with that trick.
Ah, yes - triboluminescence. Definitely a cool trick.
OMG! It has a name! How cool!
And it has a Wikipedia page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Triboluminescence. :D

We gave the kids Wint-O-Green Lifesavers last night and let them try it out in the darkened bathroom.

Great fun!

I miss Tan. M&Ms lost something the day they lost Tan.

I'm abstaining from the poll in memory of Tan.

I love all the other non-chocolate candy mentioned. Skittles. Jelly Beans. Gummy candy of any kind.

I indeed ate a packet of bottle caps this evening.

The one with Jennifer Lopez playing wedding planner to Mathew McConaughy (sp?). He was a doctor married some blonde socialite and he and Jennifer fell in love. They sat on a tree in the park watching movies and tossing away M&Ms. Although, now that I think of it - weren't they tossing out the brown ones?

The following is a summary of the changes to the colors of the flagship (milk chocolate) flavor of M&M's, the only flavor manufactured since the beginning of the brand. From 1941 until 1987, each package contained M&M's in five different colors; when red M&M's were reintroduced in 1987, they were added as a sixth color instead of replacing any of the existing colors.

Ohhhhhhh!

Goodbye Taniel;
You are, older than me;
Do you still feel the pain?

But you see more than I;

Forget the sparks, get them for the taste! They're amazing and were the first thing I thought of when Wilson started talking about white candy.
