Re: Can I get some vibes for my wife, please?
My toe's a little sore, as I haven't been able to rest it as I should, but I'm fine.
Erica has a spiral fracture of her fifth metacarpal on her right hand (the long bone in the hand that connects the wrist to the pinky finger). She's having surgery tomorrow morning at 7:00 to twist it back and put some pins or screws into it. So, we'd appreciate some vibes and prayers for that please.
Her left hand may have a hairline fracture in the scaphoid bone. They're not sure, but the treatment for it is the same as for a sprain for now, which is splinting it. So, they're gonna leave it in the splint for a few weeks and then x-ray it again to see how it's doing, but they're not too worried about that one. The right hand is the problem.
Anyway, that's about it. All vibes and thoughts and prayers around 7 am tomorrow would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Can I get some vibes for my wife, please?
We just got home. Erica's a little sore and tired, but she's okay and the doctor said the surgery went well. They put two screws in her hand. The doctor said it was good they did the surgery, because it was more twisted than the x-ray showed and a piece of muscle had hooked over the jagged end. Everything's fixed now, though.
Anyway, thanks for all your prayers and vibes. Please keep 'em coming to speed healing and avoid infection. Thanks.
