I'm in the process of putting it in an album, but haven't yet. I'd make it my profile pic, but I have better ones now! In fact, I just changed it a couple of minutes ago!CathyCA wrote:Is that one on your FB page? Re: Fun With Scanners
DD was NOT in our 1976 pig book. Either he didn't send in a picture or he may have been J-frosh (am I remembering that he has mentioned that before?) I guess it could have been his HS yearbook, but if so, how did you get it?CathyCA wrote:Correct. These are freshmen, but the pictures did not come from the pig book.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:It could be from the Duke freshman "pig book", aka Freshman Record from the late 60's or early 70's. I used my HS senior picture in mine and it is that size. I just pulled mine out and there were 4 pictures across, just like these, and the names were out to the side. So this IS a freshman record. It's just a matter of whose?????

They were from the 1973 Chanticleer, one of the last Duke yearbooks to publish photos of all four classes.
This is DevilDeac's freshman yearbook picture. He's on the second to the last row, second one over.
Why didn't you show up for your class picture that year, Ozzie?

I don't remember that I didn't. I don't think I bought the book - at least I don't have it now. I do remember the "controversial" picture in it - of some girl giving some guy a blow-job in the Gardens. Nothing "critical" was shown, but it was obvious.CathyCA wrote:

There were several nekkid pictures in that yearbook. It seemed to be the artsy thing to do in the early 70s.OZZIE4DUKE wrote:I don't remember that I didn't. I also saw the photo you referred to. I'm not sure that anything was actually going on, but perhaps some acting.
