I know but I had a buncha reading and things to do around the house. Plus, I just can't stand to give up 2+ hours watching the 'holes play, no matter how good the company is :ymhug: . Not only that, most times when I watch :poo: like that, I am bad luck and the 'holes usually pull out a W. Not to mention it (but I will :ymblushing: ), my eyes hurt or bleed when I am subjected to that revolting color scheme, too.

A nice win for the Jackets, and I of course love for the heels to lose. I really dunno about the officiating, because I only caught part of the game on the radio, but leave it to Tech to sandwich wins vs. Duke and carolina around a loss to Virginia. If they go .500 in the ACC this season, Tech will get into the tournament, but Paul Hewitt really is a terrible, terrible coach.

Jesus_hurley and I were enjoying the blowout, until as AD noted, she turned on her tv and started to watch. We did convince her to turn the tv back on. DukePA kept us up to date on the opinions of her significant other..which sounded like a debate amongst himself as to which team was trying to help the heels lose more.

Since the ball was in the back court when they called timeout, shouldn't the inbound play have been in the backcourt? What's another 10 feet closer to the basket?

So you noticed that too? I was surprised the TV guys didn't mention it.

While the verdict is still out on Virginia, I totally agree about Hewitt. How he has stayed at Tech with the incredible inconsistency shown is amazing. And I agree, isa really terrible coach.

You know, when he first arrived at Tech, I thought it was a good move. As his team's style of play developed, however, he lost me completely.

I was rooting for a draw yesterday.

I think he is still getting mileage outta his recruiting, but moreso outta his 2004 FF appearance. I do not like him as a coach for his ability (or lack thereof) or his thuggery.
