Although it's a financial stretch for me, I'm going to pay for his mission trip. I think that a mission trip is one of the best things Sam could ever experience, and I don't want him to miss out on it.

ExLax earns EIGHT times what I earn. He could write the check and never miss the money. I'm certain that he'll be taking his girlfriend on another nice vacation this summer, and yet he won't fork over the money for Sam to do a mission trip.
You are a good mom. :ymhug:
Yes, you are. ExLax is a jerk. He doesn't deserve such great kids. :Boo: :naughty:

It's nice to be home in Efland but I miss Kenansville. :( I did get to see Max this morning. He's out of school for Spring break. His Uncle Craig brought him over this afternoon before I left. :)

Are you guys doing any kind of fundraisers? Selling candy, subs, cheesecakes, popcorn? I'd be happy to buy some. :-)

Here's the problem: The youth group has conducted fundraisers all year long. Sam's participation has been half-hearted because he didn't think that he was going to go on the trip. A few weeks ago, he decided that he wanted to go. He could have raised all of the money doing fundraisers earlier in the year, but he didn't. ExLax hasn't been encouraging Sam in the least.

I think we'll be doing a mini-fundraiser when Sam arrives in Greenville next week. Sam will be working in my yard and my mom's yard. :D

But thank you for your kind offer, DukeUsul.
