First really good week I've had this year.

Even though he won the race, Kenseth's week just got pretty shitty:

For failing postrace inspection, Kenseth loses all the points he earned, Gibbs suffers, the crew chief suffers, and the manufacturer suffers.

Add this onto the issues with Penske (Kes & Logano appealing penalties against their crews), and I wonder which teams will actually be able to race next week.

Kenseth has led most of the way, with Bowyer grabbing the lead briefly, just before the yellow came out in lap 42. Minor issue with Wise was the cause of the yellow.

KuBu and Edwards stay out... everyone else except Kenseth & Newman came into the pits.
Looks like JJ & Blech will now be loaded with fresher tires. JJ went with 2 tires. Blech took 4.
The four that stayed out may NOT have enough fuel to last. Those who came in will have enough to last the remainder of the race without pitting.
PENALTIES on the pits: Blech, Vickers, and Cassill. Commitment line violation. All will have to restart at 26, 27, 28.
EDIT: BUT NASCAR overrules itself, and allows Blech to start 6th.

74 laps to go: CAUTION: Smoke gets loose, gets into JJ, they spin together, JJ tags Blech's front. EVERYTHING gets mixed up.

JPM leads the restart.
2 laps in, and then CAUTION: MM spins and slams the wall, tags KK, and Vickers hits him too.

Blech gets into the lead lap, but he is still racing a heavily damaged car.

Note: The three cars that got involved there were picked by colchar. UGH! Of these, only MM is out of the race.
