BTW, we in Virginia have water pitchers at the attorneys' tables, except in juvenile court, where there's hand sanitizer and tissues. I guess they're afraid water pitchers would make an attractive weapon in domestic cases.

Yesterday, the ADA poured himself a cup of water. "Ewwww! There's an eyelash in my water!"

His co-ADA looked over at the cup and said, "Man, that's not an eyelash!"

Good morning! I was up late, but not real late, painting. It's a big painting, and I wanted to pull an all-nighter with it. I'm an old fuddy-duddy now, and sleep won out. I woulda screwed something up if I painted tired.
