This is fantastic. Well played, Cathy.CathyCA wrote:Jenny, Jenny, who can I turn to?
You give me something I can hold onto
I know you think I'm like the others before
Who saw your name and number on the wall
Jenny, I got your number,
I need to make you mine.
Jenny, don't change your number,
8-6-7-5-3-0-9 (8-6-7-5-3-0-9)
8-6-7-5-3-0-9 (8-6-7-5-3-0-9)

And this is also well played.bjornolf wrote:By Christmas, DD will be able to highlight the 5309 part of that. ;)

The fact that you know that is sad, so very very sad.wilson wrote:Zack Morris got a 1502 on his SAT.
Oh, really, am I coming up on any important years? I'm not too familiar with the stuff of the later 18th century until we get into the 1770s in America.wilson wrote:And this is also well played.bjornolf wrote:By Christmas, DD will be able to highlight the 5309 part of that. ;)
Pay attention, bjornolf; you're in the heart of my dissertation time period right now.
You just missed the beginning of the Seven Years' War (perhaps the French & Indian War to the layperson), and you're very close to its end date. I won't tell you either; you'll just have to go and find out for yourself.bjornolf wrote:Oh, really, am I coming up on any important years? That is far--very far--from the only ridiculously obscure thing I know about 'Saved by the Bell'.colchar wrote:The fact that you know that is sad, so very very sad.wilson wrote:Zack Morris got a 1502 on his SAT.

There are also numerous important revolutionary/pre-revolutionary dates in the 1760s and 70s. I actually encourage you to go and find a timeline of these if you're interested in that era of history...it really helps clarify why and how everything went down the way it did.

Shitty, I had planned to do 1991 and 1992 if nobody else had. Then again, knowing this group, that was a pipe dream.
You are coming up on the Proclamation of 1763. It was one of the first few royal decisions that incited the colonists' resentment of the crown, if I'm not mistaken.bjornolf wrote:Oh, really, am I coming up on any important years? Yes it was. Very good, young squire.CellR wrote:You are coming up on the Proclamation of 1763. It was one of the first few royal decisions that incited the colonists' resentment of the crown, if I'm not mistaken.

If anyone wants to read something fun about historical dates go to Google, type in French Military Victories, and then hit the 'I'm Feeling Lucky' button. Click on the only link that comes up, read and enjoy. Not exactly historically accurate but still good for some giggles.
Haha, I actually really enjoyed APUSH this past year. Unlike some of my fellow classmates.wilson wrote:Yes it was. Very good, young squire.CellR wrote:You are coming up on the Proclamation of 1763.
