On Saturday, Jess Foley, Kathleen Scheer, and the Adelaide Lightning had a quick turnaround, but did enough in the fourth quarter to beat the Sydney University Flames 94-91. Jess had 13 points in 34 minutes and Kathleen had 7 points in 15 minutes. Laura Summerton had 25 points and 7 rebounds. In the loss, ex-Utah player Leilani Mitchell had 30 points and 8 rebounds, ex-San Diego State player Paris Johnson had 12 points and 8 rebounds, and rookie Mikaela Ruef from Stanford had 10 points and 8 rebounds.

On Sunday, Karima Christmas made her debut in South Korea for the S-Birds as they team dominated the fourth quarter to win 75-60. The six teams in South Korea get two foreign players each, who they drafted earlier in the summer. Karima was picked seventh with the team opting to pick ex-UNC player Jessica Breland with the sixth pick. Only one foreigner can play at a time. In this game, Karima had 20 points and 9 rebounds in 23 minutes to grab game MVP honors. In her time on the court, Breland had 16 points. On Tuesday, Shelden Williams and Tianjin were blown out by Foshan 121-93. Shelden had 15 points and 16 rebounds in 29 minutes. Quincy Douby had 13 points. After several season dominating the domestic scene, Mistie was finally able to join a team playing at the highest level of basketball in Europe as they will travel around the continent to face the best teams from other countries. This game started slowly, but the team built a lead only to be forced into overtime, where they recovered enough to escape with a 66-59 win. Mistie had 10 points and 9 rebounds in 32 minutes. On Monday, Sheana Mosch and Elitzur Holon faced Chelsea Hopkins and Bnot Herzeliya, losing 62-47. Sheana led her team with 15 points and 7 rebounds in 39 minutes. Her newest teammate, rookie Karla Gilbert from Texas A&M, had 10 points and 6 rebounds. Chelsea had 8 points, 14 rebounds, and 8 assists. She was helped by ex-Rutgers player Essence Carson who had 18 points and ex-USC player Ebony Hoffman who had 17 points and 11 rebounds.

Shelden had 23 points and 14 rebounds in 33 minutes. Quincy Douby had 48 points and 11 rebounds. I have noticed that the scores for Sheldon's games (China) seem to be much higher than the average European score - is there a rule difference or other factor that might account for this?
