I was watching basketball last night.
Wake me when any of this year's animated features (especially 'Up') are up for awards...it's been the best year in a long time for feature animation.
And she's never really knocked my socks off, but I really would like to see Sandra Bullock get an Oscar for her performance in 'The Blind Side'. She was phenomenal. Beating Meryl Streep, however, will be a tall order as always.

We just watched it on BluRay this weekend. One of the extra features helped explain Dug a little more.
I have just met you, and I LOVE you.
I was hiding under your porch because I LOVE you.

Please share stories of Dug to explain him a little more!
I am here with the bird, and I will bring it back, and then you will like me. Oh, gotta go.

It's basically a little montage of disasters he puts the other dogs through in their efforts to capture the bird. He drops them off cliffs, gets them stuck in mudslides, drops boulders on them, that kind of stuff. He tries his hardest, and wants everyone to love him, but he just keeps screwing up, even though it's usually not his fault. Thus, they hate him.
I love Dug. "It's funny because the squirrel dies. I hate squirrels."

All the little scenes are not unlike Roadrunner & Coyote. My favorite is: "Dug, watch that rock. Let us know if it moves."
The day he meets the old man is his birthday.

I didn't put this in the joke thread, cause it's not REALLY a joke, but I thought it was hysterical.
I'm sure everyone remembers the Serena Williams incident with the line judge on the foot fault call? Where she threatened that she was going to shove the f-ing ball down this tiny woman's throat?
Well, in a charity doubles match raising money for Haiti, a line judge called a foot fault on Andy Roddick. He turned to the judge and said, "Are you seriously gonna foot fault me in a charity match?" guy shrugs, "You KNOW Serena's sitting right there, don't you?" Serena was watching the action as she was in the next match. He then gestured toward the judge with the ball.
Anyway, I thought it was funny. Everyone in the stadium cracked up, including Serena. Good to know she can at least laugh at herself about it.
