I've got about 90 posts to go to reach 2000. I wonder if I can get there in a night? I'm thinking tomorrow because there is a Leafs game on tonight and that takes precedence over everything else.

Rolvix - I've been thinking of the young man in your scholarship contest picture. Any word from Haiti on how he is doing?

Well, the orphanage that he lives at, Wings of Hope, sustained some structural damage. All of the kids (and the boys from St. Joseph's, the main orphanage) are living in the smaller, newer portion of the building that is stable. None of the children were killed and only one from St. Joseph's was injured but is doing fine now.

To be honest I'm not even sure if he (Delmas) is even living at Wings of Hope anymore. All I've heard about him since our last trip in June is that he was going to be adopted by a family in Texas and they were going to pay for surgery to restore the use of his legs. This would be AMAZING considering he was the only child at Wings of Hope that wasn't mentally handicapped, only physically. I'm so happy that he will have the opportunity to grow up with a great chance of becoming something more than he could have in his current/past situation.
