It’s really hard to know what to say. Surreal.

Maybe I’ll ask this. Has he been arrested yet?
Well, he said a prayer and consecrated it all to Jesus. So it's all good. 8-}

Jim Jordan, from the floor of the House moments ago (paraphrased from imperfect memory):

"In seven days, there will be a peaceful transfer of power, just like there has been in every other election."

I hate to break it to you, Jim, but last Wednesday? Yeah, that wasn't peaceful. You should know quite well that the "peaceful" ship has already sailed.

He's so disgusting. And thankfully his voice today was decidedly in the minority.

I tried to watch the impeachment but listening to all those republicans and their verbal diarrhea was too much. It’s just sad and depressing. I thought I could be happy about Trumps second impeachment but I just feel nothing. Numb.

QAnon wants unity.
This should go in the political junkie thread, and if she pursues it, it will, but she needs to be chucked out of congress.

At least one of the Q-Anoners, I think the one from CO, was live tweeting Pelosi’s location to the insurgents. In any event, multiple members of Congress are under investigation for abetting. Wouldn’t it be fun if GA Q-Anon ends up in trouble with the FBI? Lock her up!

That was the spoiled brat who refuses to have her bag searched and go through metal detectors, and who got up and railed against the evil left in her impeachment arguments yesterday.

Not only did Lauren Boebert get involved in showcasing the Capitol Building to insurrection participants on January the 5th she also tweeted about Nancy Pelosi’s whereabouts during the resurrection itself.

I'm sure a few folks in the Capitol thought it was a religious experience.

If the inauguration has a hiccup or two, it might be because they couldn't give it a test run.
A rehearsal for U.S President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration scheduled for Sunday has been postponed because of security concerns, Politico reported late on Thursday, citing two people with knowledge of the decision.
https://www.yahoo.com/news/rehearsal-bi ... 19559.html

Monday is the makeup date, but I really wish they'd have in the Capitol building and toss out the notion of having on the steps outside.
